In orderfor you tol be able to enjoy your WIND-FLYERTM for many years to come, please pay attention to the following use and care instructions:
Use Instructions:
WIND-FLYERSTM are decorative flags that flutter in the wind on poles or masts in a garden or on a balcony. They are also being used indoors like in a wintergarden. Due to their shape and material they are unlike regular flags.
Please do the following and your WIND-FLYERSTM will last a long time:
- the WIND-FLYERTM should be given room to "fly" freely and should not rub against an obstacle such as a wall or a tree,
- when displaying several WIND-FLYERSTM, do not attach them too close together, depending on their length, leave a distance from 20 to 30 cm (8-12") between them,
- due to the shape and the light weight the WIND-FLYERSTM catch the wind easily and "fly" nicely even in a light breeze,
- if the WIND-FLYERTM is flown in an area such as a beach, in the hills, or an open area, we advise that you lower the WIND-FLYERTM during stormy conditions. There is a danger that, under such circumstances, the attachment will tear and the tail will prematurely become frayed from the constant battering.
The WIND-FLYERSTM have been printed with weather resistant ink which also can be handwashed. A certain bleaching of the colors after several years is unavoidable and dependent upon the light's duration and intensity.
Care Instructions:
- Handwash in water to a maximum of 30°C (90°F)!
- Do not leave sitting in water as colors might leach out.
- Line dry!
- Cover with another cloth when ironing and use only a low setting!
Mounting Instructions:
For display of several WIND-FLYERSTM outdoors, we recommend to use vertical flag poles usually available in the trade.
ImageAs an accessory, we offer a handy pole at a favourable price for mounting on a wall. Due to its variable length you can attach up to 6 WIND-FLYERSTM (see illustration).
When mounting the WIND-FLYERSTM to a freely stretched rope or one of a flag pole, please pay attention to the following:
- ImageWIND-FLYERTM measuring up to 1 Meter (3 ft.) length must be attached to the rope using both strings .
- WIND-FLYERTM with 1,5 Meters (4,5 ft.) length and more must be attached using the included 2 hooks (see diagram).
